Kolmisoft announce the release of the MOR 8 - completely new version of VoIP billing and routing software, designed for small and mid-sized VoIP service providers and entrepreneurs willing to establish VoIP business. MOR 8 comes in an intuitive, easy-to-use web interface that can be customized to a provider’s specifications. Kolmisoft's versatile application can be used for various VoIP business models (wholesale, retail, prepaid and postpaid), branded with provider’s logo and integrated with the provider's back-end or toolbox.

 

MOR 8 version distinguishes by its feature-rich structure – 15 new features were added to this version. First of all, two new add-ons were added to MOR 8: Mobile Number Portability add-on and Recordings add-on. Mobile Number Portability add-on enables mobile telephone users to retain their mobile telephone numbers when changing from one mobile network operator to another. Using MNP add-on system owner can check if the number belongs to other network and if so - route it through different providers or bill it with different price. Second new add-on – Recordings enables system owner (administrator) to record selected users' calls for monitoring purposes. Having Recordings add-on, you will be able to:

• Send recording to email
• Limit space for users for recordings
• Record calls without user knowledge
• Allow users to manage their recordings (get to email/listen/download/delete)
• Convert recordings from WAV to MP3 format and store on external server, to take off load from main server

Furthermore, Kolmisoft developers added some essential features to MOR. To begin with, now it is possible to make a backup of MOR. Backup system makes a backup of MOR database and allows restoring it at any time. Secondly, there are some changes in MOR statistics – in MOR 8 system admin can see how server is loaded during some time period. Also there is some new functionality in payments – Kolmisoft integrated Ouroboros payment gateway, added Flat-Rate functionality and Multi-Tax system that allows having several taxes in final reports for users. As example we can take Canada which has GST and PST taxes. Now you can simply apply these taxes to all newly created users and you will see all this information on Invoices, Reports and etc. Meanwhile Flat-Rates enables you to make a service plan, where Client for fixed amount can dial some minutes to some destinations. If user had used all available minutes, all additional minutes are charged by normal rate. If you have some unwanted users, there is an option to block user at selected date or ban Caller IDs. Then, e.g. IVR can tell: “Sorry, but your account is blocked because...?

In previous MOR version by default Accountants had only read-only rights. From this version system admin can allow them to make some changes to the system by changing their permissions. As speed dial is quite popular tool among Kolmisoft customers, there is new feature "Speed Dials" that enables user to enter short number (Speed Dial) which transforms to some real long number which should be dialed instead. For example user can set the following scenario: if he dials “11�?, the system will transform this to full number, e.g. 37063042438, so user will save time for dialing long numbers. Speed Dial is also incorporated together with PhoneBook functionality. Talking about routing, Kolmisoft expanded possibilities for LCR – now MOR users can setup Weight-based routing and Routing by Percent. This type of routing lets route calls by percentage value of some Provider. It is similar to Priority based routing except that here Providers are selected randomly with greater or lesser probability. Finally, the mostly awaited feature is Email/SMS callback system. This function initiates callback using details of received email. Device can have one CallerID from which is able to initiate Callback.

Together with new version of MOR, Kolmisoft releases a free VoIP billing software edition that can handle up to 10 simultaneous calls – it is ideal for startups and beginners, to establish small VoIP business and later upgrade software as their business grows.
